Lucky No. 42 is a cosmetic item for the Scout. It is an old gold-colored beach towel with a pale-yellow sun design and a team-colored parasol. Both are wrapped around the Scout's standard messenger bag with grey straps and team-colored fasteners.
This item was available for purchase from July 1 to July 12, 2011, during the Summer Camp Sale, although it is still available through trading.

Trivia
- This item is twice a reference to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, written by Douglas Adams. Throughout the course of the book and its sequels, always carrying a towel is a running theme. The book also states that the number 42 is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything. Another Scout item, the Holy Mackerel, references the number with its level.
