The Greased Lightning is a community-created cosmetic item for the Scout. It is dark brown hair with a hanging quiff which jiggles when the Scout moves.
This item has two styles, named "No Headset" and "Headset". The "No Headset" style hides the Scout's default headphones, while the "Headset" style retains the Scout's default headphones.
The Greased Lightning was contributed to the Steam Workshop.

Trivia
- The item's name and appearance is a reference to the 1978 film Grease.
- The name is also a reference to the idiom "like greased lightning", which is an old-fashioned way of saying "very fast".
- Perhaps the appearance is a reference to Superman's hairstyle from the film Superman 1978
