- The hat is awarded in Genuine quality for those who pre-ordered Red Orchestra 2: Heroes Of Stalingrad's Steam Digital Deluxe Edition, despite the fact that the Steam page claims the hats will be awarded in Vintage quality, (but the hat was still awarded to people who pre-ordered the game even though they did not pre-order the Steam Digital Deluxe Version).
Trivia
- In the USSR, the garrison cap was known as a "Template:W", from "pilot" — the cap was a part of air force pilots' uniform in World War I. They were the most common type of hat in the WWII Red Army and were used in the summer instead of the Template:W worn in the winter.
