Ellis' Cap is a promotional headwear item, wearable by all classes. It is styled after the hat worn by the eponymous Ellis in Left 4 Dead 2. It is a white and team-colored baseball cap, featuring a Template:W patch.
This hat was given to players, along with the Frying Pan, who purchased Left 4 Dead 2.
The promotion was supposed to end on October 7, 2010 however it is still obtainable along with the Frying Pan by purchasing Left 4 Dead 2

Bugs
- Even if Left 4 Dead 2 is purchased after October 7, 2010, Ellis' Cap and the Frying Pan can still be obtained as Promotional Items.
- When the player get scared by the ghost or Horseless Headless Horsemann this hat will sometimes clip through the players head.
