- Guadalajara is the capital of the state of Jalisco in Mexico, which translates to "Stony River" in Arabic. A series of gasoline explosions rocked the city in the 90s, killing 200 people and leaving 15 thousand homeless. This is likely why the Pyro wears this hat.
- There have been many theories as to the Pyro's nationality. Mexican is one, this hat is likely a reference to that.
