- The Plumber's Cap is a reference to the fictional game character Mario, who appears in the Mario franchise and other Nintendo titles. Notably, Mario's hat has an "M" in the center standing for Mario, whereas the Plumber's Cap has an "E" in the center standing for Engineer.
