The Botler 2000 is a community-created cosmetic item for all classes. It is a small team-colored robot with only a left arm, designed to appear to wear a suit, a shirt, a bow tie, and a bowler hat, that follows the player around.
This item has two styles, named "Thirsty" and "Thirstyless". The "Thirsty" style has the robot carry a drink on a platter, while the "Thirstyless" has the robot keep its arm on its back. The drink it carries depends on the class it is following:
- When following the Scout, it carries a bottle of a Bonk!-flavored soda.
- When following the Soldier, it carries an opened can of water.
- When following the Pyro, it carries a vanilla caramel milkshake in a glass.
- When following the Demoman, it carries a jug styled after the Bottle of three-times-distilled moonshine.
- When following the Heavy, it carries a bottle of (99% ethanol) vodka.
- When following the Engineer, it carries a brown bottle of beer.
- When following the Medic, it carries a wooden beer stein of frothy beer.
- When following the Sniper, it carries a white "#1 Sniper" mug of coffee.
- When following the Spy, it carries a martini with an olive on a pick.
When players equipped with this item kill an enemy unassisted by another player, the killfeed shows everyone in Pyroland that it gets the assist, with its custom name if it has one.
The Botler 2000 was contributed to the Steam Workshop.
