The Pugilist's Protector is a community-created headwear item for the Heavy. It takes the form of a team colored padded strap helmet, with the Mann Co. logo stamped on the front and a team colored plastic mouth-guard.

- The mouth-guard is similar to those worn by boxers, also known as Template:Ws, to absorb and deflect blows to the face and mouth. This ties in thematically with the Heavy's preference for hand-to-hand combat.
