Archimedes is a cosmetic item for the Medic. It is the Medic's pet white dove who perches on the Medic's right shoulder and wobbles around with his movements. Fitting with its appearance in Meet the Medic, the RED version of Archimedes is splattered with blood from burrowing inside the Heavy's chest, while the BLU version lacks this feature.

The eyes and beak of Archimedes are flexed with the Medic's facial animations, allowing him to mimic the Medic's expressions.

When players equipped with this item kill an enemy unassisted by another player, the killfeed shows everyone in Pyroland that it gets the assist, with its custom name if it has one.

This item was awarded in Genuine quality to players who purchased the plush version from the Valve Store.
