The Cold Case is a community-created cosmetic item for the Engineer. It is a team-colored device resembling a mini-fridge, adorned with Red Shed or Blu Streak branding, worn on the Engineer’s back, containing three bottles of beer. The hose on the left side of the fridge jiggles when the player moves.

The Cold Case was contributed to the Steam Workshop.

Due to how the textures are set up, painting the Cold Case with single color Paint Cans results in different colorization on the paint regions between teams.
