The Pyro's Beanie is an unlockable headwear item for the Pyro that first appeared in the Classless Update. It appears as a felt, yellow-and-team-color striped beanie hat with a plastic propeller on top. The Pyro wears the hat atop his/her regular gas mask.
Trivia
- Beanies were popular among schoolchildren in the early- to mid-20th century. Famous science fiction author Template:W made a whimsical addition to these caps with a plastic propeller attached to the crown. These propeller beanies saw a brief period of popularity before the hat eventually became associated with nerdiness, and later social awkwardness and idiocy. The Pyro's use of this hat is likely a reference to his/her sociopathic tendencies and apparent lack of sanity, or it could hint at the age of the Pyro.
