The Cuban Bristle Crisis is a miscellaneous item for the Heavy. It is a neatly kept beard and moustache. The beard connects up to the Heavy's hairline. A cigar rests on his lips, similar to the Soldier's Stogie.

It was contributed to the Steam Workshop under the name 'The Cuban Cover Up'.

  • The Cuban Bristle Crisis was added to the game.

Bugs

  • This item is supposed to follow the Heavy's facial expressions, but the settings for this were not applied to the model.

Trivia

  • The item's name is a reference to the Cuban Missile Crisis, a confrontation in 1962 between the USSR and the United States during the Cold War.
  • The item closely resembles the facial hair and iconic cigar of Fidel Castro, the former Communist dictator of Cuba.
