The Flatliner is a community-created cosmetic item for the Medic. It is a futuristic, team-colored visor with an animated heart rate monitor on it, with a cloth that covers the back of his head and his neck with a chin protector.
The Flatliner was contributed to the Steam Workshop.

Update history
August 21, 2020 Patch (Summer 2020 Pack)
- The Flatliner was added to the game.
- Updated The Flatliner to fix a problem when taunting.
Notes
- Using the Waterlogged Lab Coat paint on this item provides absolutely no visual difference in-game on either team. This happens because the exact same color values are used for both the paint and the item's default "unpainted" color.
Trivia
- A flatline occurs when a measuring equipment is not receiving any activity and so displays a straight (or flat) line instead of an undulating one. In medicine, it usually means the heart has stopped beating or the brain has ceased functioning.
