The Saxton Hale Mask is an unlockable headwear item for all classes. It appears as a brown paper bag featuring the face of Saxton Hale, CEO of Mann Co., with orange horns over his head.
It can be obtained by crafting all 9 unique Halloween Masks from the 2010 Halloween Event together. Each Event Mask could be found in the Mann Manor map in randomly spawned gift boxes during the event. The boxes do not spawn outside of the event.
Unlike the other Halloween related hats, the Saxton Hale Mask can be worn even after Halloween, like the Ghastly Gibus. The Saxton Hale Mask can be crafted after Halloween, allowing players to complete the Sackston Hale achievement. As with the Halloween Mask, this mask does not work with the Rebuild Headgear crafting recipe.
While wearing this hat, the player is immune to the Horseless Headless Horsemann's "Boo" taunt, but not the fright from the Ghost on Harvest.
