The Halloween Masks are individual unlockable headwear items added as part of the 2010 Halloween Special Event. Like the Mildly Disturbing Halloween Mask, each mask appears as a paper bag with the image of a class on the front. Any mask can be worn by any class. Masks can be obtained in the Mann Manor map, where a Halloween Gift will appear every 5 minutes. The gift will slowly fade into existence and stays on the map until the map has been changed or a player captures it. The first person to touch the gift after it has become completely opaque receives a random class's Halloween Mask. If there is more than one player touching the gift when it becomes solid, the mask will be given randomly to one of them. There must be at least 10 non-bot players in a server for Halloween Masks to drop. Unlike the Saxton Hale Mask, these masks may only be worn for the duration of the Scream Fortress Event.
Crafting all nine masks together will result in the Saxton Hale Mask. Currently the masks can only be obtained through trading as the Haunted Halloween Gift will not spawn in Mann Manor outside of the halloween event. These masks does not work with the Rebuild Headgear crafting recipe.
