The Cuban Bristle Crisis is a community-created cosmetic item for the Soldier, Heavy, and Engineer. It is a neatly kept beard and mustache. The beard connects up to the Heavy's hairline. A cigar rests on his lips, similar to the Soldier's Stogie.
The Cuban Bristle Crisis was contributed to the Steam Workshop under the name "The Cuban Cover Up".

Trivia
- The item's name is a reference to the Cuban Missile Crisis, a confrontation in 1962 between the USSR and the United States during the Cold War.
- The item is based off of the famous Cuban dictator, Fidel Castro, who had a neat, trim beard and was fond of smoking cigars.
