The Tiny Texan is a community-created cosmetic item for the Engineer. It changes the top of the Engineer's head, opening it with loose panels to reveal a miniature version of himself controlling the large body from inside. The miniature Engineer is connected to the main Engineer's facial flexes; different emotions cause the mini-Engineer to perform different actions, such as grabbing his helmet or raising his arms. It also adds a slight glow to the Engineer's goggles.
This item can only be worn around Halloween or during a Full Moon; at other times of the year, it does not appear in gameplay, unless the server has Halloween mode enabled. However, it can be equipped at any time and can still be viewed on the loadout screen even when it is not visible during games.
The Tiny Texan was contributed to the Steam Workshop under the name "The Tiny Texan V2".
