The Aim Assistant is a community-created cosmetic item for the Engineer. It is miniature wind-up toy Level 1 Sentry Gun, perched on the Engineer's shoulder with small metal legs. It's metal key spins while moving.
This item features two styles, "Normal" and "Mini". The Mini style changes the wind-up toy to a Combat Mini-Sentry Gun.
When players equipped with this item kill an enemy unassisted by another player, the killfeed shows everyone in Pyroland that it gets the assist, with its custom name if it has one.
The Aim Assistant was contributed to the Steam Workshop under the name Aimbot Assistant.
