The Batter's Helmet is the first headwear for the Scout and was released in the Sniper vs. Spy Update. It appears as a team-coloured, fibreglass Template:W with a single ear-guard that fits over the Scout's regular hat.

Update history
- Paint affects this hat's color more, colors are less washed out.
- The hat's painting texture was improved.
Trivia
- The left ear is covered for right-handed batters and the right ear for left-handed batters, whichever ear faces the pitcher.[1] Since the Scout is a right-handed batter, he would seem to be wearing the wrong sided helmet. However, this could be because the Scout already wears the headset on his left ear.
