The Spine-Chilling Skull is a headwear item for all classes. It appears as a sharp-toothed, demonic skull with curled ram horns, with the wearer's eyes peering through the sockets. It was available for purchase from the Mann Co. Store during the Scream Fortress event, which ran between the 27th of October and the 8th of November 2010. It is no longer available for purchase, however it still has a 50% chance of being crafted using the Halloween Hat Blueprint (the other possible result is a Voodoo Juju).

Previous changes
- Some untradeable Spine-Chilling Skulls are now tradeable.
Trivia
- The Spine-Chilling Skull was modeled by an artist from Weta Digital[1], the same studio responsible for modeling characters from the Lord of the Rings film trilogy such Gollum and the Balrog. The latter of the two, interestingly, bears quite a resemblance to the Spine-Chilling Skull.
- Like several other Halloween hats, the Spine-Chilling Skull does not have a randomly selected level when crafted or purchased. Its level is always 31, presumably because Halloween is on the 31st of October.
