The Alien Swarm Parasite is an unlockable headwear item for all classes. It is obtained by earning the "Hat Trick" achievement in the game Alien Swarm by completing 2 co-op missions (regardless of difficulty setting) online.

The hat description was written by Grug for the Hat Describing Contest and was slightly edited by Valve.

  • Similar to an existing bug with the Holy Mackerel, the jiggleboned tail of the parasite may become twisted and knotted.
