The Scotsman's Stove Pipe is a cosmetic item for the Demoman. It is a simple black top hat with a brown sash.

This item has two styles, named "Tasteful and Refined" and "Garish and Overbearing". When painted, the "Tasteful and Refined" style colors the sash, and the "Garish and Overbearing" style colors the entire hat.

This item is awarded in Genuine quality to players who purchase the BLU Demoman Action Figure and redeem the code that comes with it.

This item has very little effect on its appearance when its styles are changed unless painted. Mann Co. Orange paint is used here for demonstration purposes.

  • Painting for the Scotsman's Stove Pipe was changed to color only the band instead of the entire hat, which resembles the previous paint scheme of the Ghastly Gibus.

Trivia

  • Stove pipe hats are commonly classified as top hats with straight sides. The Demoman's top hat appears to have curved sides, which makes it more akin to the "Chimney pot" style of headwear.[1]
