The Demoman to the Pyro

The Pyromancer's Mask is a community-created headwear item for the Pyro. It appears as a cracked dragon skull with a missing right horn set over the Pyro's default gas mask.

  • This hat was added to the game.

December 21, 2010 Patch

  • Name changed from "Pryomancer's Mask" to "Pyromancer's Mask" (spelling error).
  • The Pyromancer's Mask was added to the Mann Co. Store, made craftable and included in random drops.
  • Paint texture of the Pyromancer's Mask was improved.

Trivia

  • Pyromancers are seers, wizards, or magi that have an affinity with fire. Some of the possible filters for "Pyro" in the Medieval mode chat parser include "Fire Mage" and "Fire Magus".
  • Pyromancy is the art of divination by use of fire. It was a regular practice of the ancient Greeks, who would interpret the flames of burning sacrifices. The Chinese equivalent of this process was the burning of oracle bones.
