The Saxton Hale Mask is a headwear item for all classes. The Saxton Hale Mask appears as a brown paper bag, decorated with the face of Saxton Hale, CEO of Mann Co.. As with every other Halloween Mask caricature, the Saxton Hale Mask features orange horns drawn over Saxton Hale's head.
This hat can only be obtained via crafting, using all 9 unique Halloween Masks from the 2010 Halloween Event together. Every Halloween Mask could be found on the event map, Mann Manor, in randomly spawned gift boxes throughout the event. The boxes do not spawn outside of the event, or outside of the Mann Manor event map.
Even though the other 9 Halloween Masks have a holiday restriction, the Saxton Hale Mask does not (similar to the Ghastly Gibus). This means that the Saxton Hale Mask can be crafted after Halloween, which allows players to complete the Sackston Hale achievement. As with the Halloween Mask, this mask does not work with the Rebuild Headgear crafting recipe.
While wearing the Saxton Hale Mask, the player is granted complete immunity to the "Boo" taunt that the Horseless Headless Horsemann uses to stun players. A player with the Saxton Hale Mask is still able to be frightened by the Ghost on Harvest Event.

October 27, 2010 Patch (Scream Fortress Update)
- Added the Saxton Hale Mask to the game.
- The "Sackston Hale" achievement can no longer be earned by receiving the hat in a trade.
- Fixed a problem with the Saxton Hale achievement sometimes not being awarded correctly.
