The Security Shades are a community-created miscellaneous item for the Heavy. They are a pair of black tinted sunglasses with a grey frame.

- The Security Shades were added in game.

- The item can now be crafted.
Bugs
- Due to the Security Shades originally being part of the Copper's Hard Top, the temple arms of the shades do not extend around the Heavy's ears, leaving the glasses floating on top of his ears. A fix has been submitted for approval by the creator. [2]
- When seen from behind, the lenses are completely transparent.
Trivia
- The Security Shades and the Copper's Hard Top were created and submitted alongside one another.[3] They were intended to be a single item but were separated into two by Valve.[4]
