The Head Warmer is a community-created headwear item for the Pyro. It is a team-colored hood, with fur surrounding the fringes and a small fluffy ball at the top.
The Head Warmer was originally known as the "Incinerator's Insulator" when it was contributed to the Steam Workshop, but the name was changed by Valve before implementation into the game.

December 15, 2011 Patch (Australian Christmas 2011)
- The Head Warmer was added to the game.
- The Head Warmer is now droppable and craftable.
Bugs
- The Head Warmer's unusual particle effects are out of place. Instead of being located around the hat itself, the effects are placed around the Pyro's upper chest area.
