Trivia
- If you look carefully at the right side of the bowtie, you can see that it's dirtied. This could either be from blood, indicating the Pyro doesn't wash the bowtie, or from being burnt due to the Pyro constantly being around open flames, and the fact that the exterior clothing is not protected by the flame-retardant suit.
- This is the second hat Progg has contributed to the game, the first being the Hound Dog.
- This, along with some other Pyro hats (such as the Vintage Merryweather), do not have the atmosphere of "insanity" or "goofiness." Instead, it's more pertaining to his/her job.
- This could also explain how the Pyro got the parts to make His/Her Primary weapons. I.E. He/She used to work at a gas station, and stole parts from the gas pumps to make the trigger. The propane tank might also be from the same gas station.
- The hat is similar in appearance to the hat worn by Guy Montag, protagonist of the science fiction book Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. Montag was a fireman, but instead of putting out fires, he started them, similar to the Pyro's line of work.
