The Whiskered gentleman is a community-created miscellaneous item for the Pyro and was chosen by Valve to be released with the second wave of community-contributed content due to its outstanding quality. It appears as a monocle, fake mustache and goatee the Pyro has taped onto his mask.

Trivia

• The Whiskered gentleman was originally a hat on release. This was changed to a misc item the next day.
• This item is a rare case of in-game refference to the Pyro's masculinity. Domination lines from other classes and the purse in the Pyro's locker all suggest femininity. However there still exists the possibility that the item is an ironic add-on for a possibly-feminine character.
