The Ghastlier Gibus is a Halloween 2010 event hat wearable by all classes. It is a version of the Ghastly Gibus that appears less dusty and features a black stripe near the tab. This stripe adorned with a badge similar Horseless Headless Horsemann's belt buckle.
This hat is an upgraded version of the Ghastly Gibus awarded to those players who earned the previous hat before Scream Fortress update. Their Ghastly Gibus (or gibuses if they obtained two) will be upgraded to this item.
Players who were unable to attend the Halloween 2010 event can still receive the older Ghastly Gibus by completing the Ghastly Gibus Grab achievement.
Unlike the other Halloween items, the Ghastlier Gibus can be worn all year round.
