The Whoopee Cap is a community-created headwear item for the Scout. The Whoopee Cap appears as a team-colored crown-like cap adorned with various logos in the form of badges.
The hat description was written by Sketch56 for the Hat Describing Contest, and was slightly modified by Valve.

Trivia
- Whoopee caps were popular amongst American youth during the 1930s and 40s. Commonly, the child would make one out of one of their father's worn-out fedoras. The process typically involved turning the fedora inside out, trimming it, and dying the fedora a vibrant color. After the trend caught on, whoopee caps were manufactured for purchase.
- The Whoopee Cap was submitted under the name "Lil' Scamp's Whoopee Cap" by the creator.
- Similarity to the hat worn by Template:W from Template:W is referenced in the description of the Whoopee Cap.
