Trivia

• This headwear item is most notably worn by construction workers who use jackhammers to protect their ears from the noise. Construction workers also wear these above or inside their hardhats; the Engineer, however, does not. Aircraft carrier flight deck personnel also wear large noise reducing headphones to shield their ears from fighter jet engines.

• Having the item worn underneath the hat was contemplated by the creator Konras, however, was scrapped due to the similarities it would have had to the Engineer's Mining Light.
