The Co-Pilot is a community-created cosmetic item for all classes. It is a team-colored pilot's hat with goggles strapped around it.

The Co-Pilot was contributed to the Steam Workshop under the name "CoPilot_2014".

December 22, 2014 Patch (Smissmas 2014)

  • The Co-Pilot was added to the game.

December 22, 2015 Patch

  • Updated the materials/models for the Co-Pilot so it can now be equipped by the Scout, Soldier, and Engineer.

May 31, 2016 Patch

  • Updated models/materials for The Co-Pilot.
  • [Undocumented] Updated the Co-Pilot to be equippable by all classes.

Trivia

  • The Co-Pilot was used in the SFM "Turbulance" winning a Saxxy award in 2015 for best overall. The hat is worn by the Pilot Scout's Co Pilot Scout, conveniently wearing the Co-Pilot hat.
