The Carouser's Capotain is a community-created headwear item for the Demoman. It appears as a tall, team-colored Capotain hat (better known as a Pilgrim hat) with a black colored band and the Demoman's insignia on it.

Trivia
- The description is a reference to The Bible, Exodus 22:18, which is often translated as "Suffer not a witch to live", referring to the Puritans and their practice of executing those accused of witchcraft.
- The hat was submitted under the name "The Inquisitor" before Valve renamed it "Carouser's Capotain". Because of the changed name, the hat's textures are in the Demoman hat folder twice.
- Originally, this hat was much darker, and painting the hat affected the band color. The creator later updated this to make it less dark and changed the band to a fixed color.
- A carouser is a participant in a noisy, lively drinking party or one who engages in drinking plentiful amounts of alcohol.
- Capotains were worn by men and women from the 1590s into the mid-seventeenth century in England and northwestern Europe. Earlier capotains had rounded crowns; later, the crown was flat at the top.
