El Jefe (pronounced hef-ay) is a promotional cosmetic item for the Scout. It is based on one of the characters on the cover art for the video game Tropico 4; a dark green beret with a team-colored trim, and long, brown, somewhat unkempt hair.
This item was awarded in Genuine quality to players who pre-ordered Tropico 4 on Steam before September 1, 2011.

- Che Guevara was a Marxist guerrilla leader, who, from stylized prints from the Guerrillero Heroico, is known for long, unkempt hair and a dark green or black beret.
- A caricature of Che Guevara is available as an avatar in the game Tropico 4.
- "El Jefe" is a Spanish term meaning "the boss".
- Tropico 4 was not available for pre-order in France, Spain, and Japan, making this item unobtainable in Genuine quality in those regions.
