The Grizzled Veteran is a Miscellaneous medal wearable by all classes awarded by Valve to the Team Fortress 2 community as part of their 119th Update Celebration. It appears as a gold, rectangular medal worn on the class's chest, not unlike the Gentle Manne's Service Medal. The Grizzled Veteran is awarded to players who bought and played Team Fortress 2 within 3 months of its initial release.

- This item was given out to users who first played Team Fortress 2 from 00:00 October 10, 2007 (UTC) to 23:59 January 9, 2008 (UTC).
- The Grizzled Veteran was originally given out to players who participated in the pre-game release beta-testing phase, however, these players were later awarded the Primeval Warrior medal instead.
