The Mask of the Shaman is a promotional headwear item for the Demoman. It is modeled after the mask worn by the nomads in From Dust.
Players who pre-purchase From Dust on Steam before August 17, 2011 will receive a Genuine quality version.

Update history

Bugs
- This hat clips with the Demoman's collar frequently, most notably while wielding a two-handed weapon.
- The mask is misaligned with the Demoman's face; The mouthpiece is located above his nose and the eyepieces are over his forehead.
Unused content
- Materials for this hat can be found in Spy's item folder in the GCF, implying the hat may have also been intended for Spy. Its texture is located in the
all_classfolder in the GCF as well.
