The Grimm Hatte (pronounced "grim hat") is a community-created cosmetic item for the Medic. It is a dark plague doctor's hat with a white band and a gold buckle, resembling those worn by doctors during the Bubonic plague.

Trivia

  • "Grimm" is a reference to the Brothers Grimm, who wrote many fairy tales, often containing death as a theme.
  • A diamond-shaped object can be seen below the Grimm Hatte's model; this is a bone exported as an object that the creator did not notice and was added in the Scream Fortress 2015 update.[1][2]
  • The item's description, translated from pseudo-Early Modern English reads: "You have never seen a hat which is as grim as this hat you look upon."
