The Safe'n'Sound, commonly abbreviated to SnS, is a community-created headwear item for the Engineer. It is a pair of team-colored acoustic Template:W that fit snugly over the Engineer's ears.
The headwear description was written by foxtrot261 for the Hat Describing Contest.

Trivia
- A wrapped Safe'n'Sound will appear as "Engineer Earmuffs" on the gift's description thumbnail from within the sender's backpack.
- Having the item worn underneath the hat was contemplated by the creator Konras.[1] However, it was scrapped due to the similarities it would have had to the Engineer's Mining Light.
