The Heavy Artillery Officer's Cap is a promotional headwear item for Heavy. It is a black and team-colored peaked cap featuring a large red star with the Team Fortress logo within it.

This item was awarded to players in Genuine quality who pre-purchased Company of Heroes 2 on Steam before June 25th, 2013.

July 17, 2013 [Item schema update]

Unused content

  • The Heavy Artillery Officer's Cap is set up for paint to be applied, but the ability to do so is disabled.

Trivia

  • The Heavy Artillery Officer's Cap is modeled after the Russian M40 officers' field cap. During the Great Patriotic War, Russian officers had a variety of headgear to choose from, but the M40 was the most common used by Soviet tank commanders during 1941, in which Company of Heroes 2 takes place.
