The Chicken Kiev is a community-created cosmetic item for the Heavy. It replaces the Heavy's head with that of a team-colored Red Army Robin. Equipping it enables additional voice lines.

This item can only be worn around Halloween or during a Full Moon; at other times of the year, it does not appear in gameplay, unless the server has Halloween mode enabled. However, it can be equipped at any time and can still be viewed on the loadout screen even when it is not visible during games.

The Chicken Kiev was contributed to the Steam Workshop under the name "Heavy Pecker."

• Updated The Chicken Kiev so it can't be equipped with the Cold War Luchador or the Large Luchadore.

Trivia

• Chicken Kiev is an Eastern European dish of boneless chicken breast pounded and rolled around cold garlic butter with herbs, then breaded and either fried or baked, similar to Chicken Cordon Bleu.
• The Chicken Kiev is associated with the online "Meme" of the "Pootis Birds" coming from the way the heavy calls for a dispenser to be placed.
