The Safe'n'Sound is a community-created headwear item available for the Engineer. It appears in-game as a pair of team-colored acoustic Template:W that protect the Engineer from the racket of gunfire and construction.
The headwear description was written by foxtrot261 for the Hat Describing Contest.

- A wrapped Safe'n'Sound will appear as "Engineer Earmuffs" on the gift's description thumbnail from within the sender's backpack (see image).
Trivia
- Having the item worn underneath the hat was contemplated by the creator Konras.[1] However, it was scrapped due to the similarities it would have had to the Engineer's Mining Light.
