The Safe'n'Sound is a community-created cosmetic item for the Engineer. It is a pair of team-colored acoustic earmuffs that fit snugly over the Engineer's ears.
The item's description was written by foxtrot261 for the Hat Describing Contest.
The Safe'n'Sound was later contributed to the Steam Workshop, at Valve's request.
