The Pyromancer's Mask is a community-created cosmetic item for the Pyro. It is a cracked skull, missing its jawbone and the right horn, which covers the front of the Pyro's gas mask.

This item has three styles, named "Original", "Full Color Paint", and "Stylish Paint". Both "Original" and "Full Color Paint" have thin gray circles around the eye holes, and a drab color on the point of the mask. "Stylish Paint" removes the gray circles around the eye holes, and changes the drab color to a gray color. If painted, "Original" adds two triangular marks underneath the eye holes, "Full Color Paint" gives the mask a full coat of color, and "Stylish Paint" colors the mask with an intricate design; the latter two styles also shade the left horn of the mask when painted.

Bugs

  • Jarate makes the patterns of the "Original" and "Stylish Paint" styles visible on unpainted Pyromancer's Masks while its effects persist.

Unused content

The mask's model contains a sub-model featuring an alternative set of horns, colored dark red on both teams, and named internally as straight (the default and used set of horns are named standard instead).

The straight horns are also set up for paint, which would be painted alongside the rest of the mask depending on the style.
