Trivia
- Often mistaken as a Spanish term, the word "honcho" originated during World War II and is derived from a Japanese title, hanchō, for a military squad leader. It means a foreman or a person who exercises control over workers.
- This hat is based on the one worn by General MacArthur, head of command in the Pacific during World War II. His pipe was originally part of the hat but was later removed; it was intended to be sent separately as a miscellaneous item, but such plans did not follow through.
- An early incarnation of the Honcho's Headgear was submitted as part of Nzdjh's Polycount Pack contest entry, the World War II Pack.
