The Stainless Pot is a headwear item for the Soldier. Released with the Classless Update, it appears as an ordinary stainless-steel saucepan, which the Soldier wears on his head as an improvised helmet.
The hat description was written by cypherx82. It was slightly edited by Valve.
Trivia
- This references a classic comedy gag where pots and pans are used as improvised armor. This gag is followed through with the Frying Pan melee weapon.
- The outer shell of the M1 helmet the Soldier usually wears is known as the "steel pot".
- Despite the hat's description, this helmet provides no additional protection from bullets in the same way that the Hard Counter does not protect against Jarate.
