*A traditional headdress of Native Americans was made from eagle feathers. There are about twenty feathers on this particular headdress. Feathers would be earned though different deeds done in war or in daily life. In some American Indian tribes individuals had to go through many tribulations to receive or be allowed to make a headdress. Many individuals would be allowed to wear a headdress depending on how many they have earned throughout their lifetime. This task could take a substantial amount of time which is probably why the developers name the item so.

*The feathers on the headdress were typically used by the natives to keep the sun out of their eyes. However, since the hat itself covers the Soldier's eyes, they serve little purpose.
