The Killer's Kabuto is a community-created headwear item for the Soldier and was chosen by Valve to be released with the first wave of community-contributed content due to its outstanding quality. It appears as a team-colored kabuto-style Japanese helmet, with an elaborate gold ornament displaying the Soldier's class icon.
Painted variants
AyesDyef has said via steam chat that he has requested that the section of the item being painted be changed from the gold band to the full helmet, because of this, the following images represent the paint in its current form.
