The Steel Shako is a community-created cosmetic item for the Soldier. It is a robotic version of the Stout Shako. It is a tall, paintable, team-colored metal shako with a metallic black visor and three golden bolts connected by black wires. The hat appears to be fastened together with 6 nuts on the top and bottom of it.
The Steel Shako was contributed to the Steam Workshop.
