Lieutenant Bites is a community-created cosmetic item for the Soldier. It is Lieutenant Bites, one of the many pet raccoons of the Soldier seen in the Doom-Mates comic, with glowing blue eyes, that is biting the ammo pouch on the right side of his belt and that swings about as he walks.
When players equipped with this item kill an enemy unassisted by another player, the killfeed shows everyone in Pyroland that it gets the assist, with its custom name if it has one.
Lieutenant Bites was contributed to the Steam Workshop under the name "Lt. Bites".

- Lieutenant Bites was added to the game.
