The Grenadier's Softcap is an unlockable headwear item for the Soldier released with the Polycount pack. It is a part of the 'Tank Buster' pack, which was contibuted by 'Larolaro', and appears as a worn out black cap. The style of the cap compliments the grungy black textures used in the 'Tank Buster' pack. This hat can be renamed, but it can not be painted.
Item set
This item is part of the Tank Buster set. When the entire set is worn, the set provides this additional bonus:
- +20% sentry damage resistance on wearer

Trivia
- The Softcap appears to be a M43 field cap They were primarily worn by German soldiers during WWII. It is possible that the Soldier took it as a trophy during his Nazi killing spree.
- "Grenadier's Softcap" is possibly a referance to German heavy infantry, that were called Grenadiers in WWII.
